Samwell– Owners Jen and Jeff Partyka – Testimonial

January 2, 2020 By tracey

Tracey and Jeff (Luzerne County Pet Recovery Services) went above and beyond for our new rescue this holiday season. Samwell has only lived in our home for four days when this foster family penned “escape artist” ran through a closing door on December 19th, 2019.

From the moment we reached out for help, Tracey was on google maps learning about our neighborhood. Once Sam was spotted miles from our house, she met me with wet hair on a Sunday morning by 9 am on a local farm 45 minutes from her home. She and Jeff tracked Sam, set up a humane trap and cameras and included us in the plan to recover our frightened guy.

Slick – Owner Brennan Malenovitch – Lost Dog Recovery Testimonial

August 18, 2017 By tracey

In early June of 2017 while my fiancé and I were both away for work and our dog Slick ran away from my mother’s house. With Tracey being a friend of my mother’s, we asked her for help.

Slicks story begins much before this. Casey, my fiancé, and I got Slick from Centre County Paws March of last year, before then he was a run away and was captured. No one truly knows how long he was out prior to then. But to continue, My family and I spent many nights with Tracey trying to lure Slick in to no avail. But despite some resistance from me, Tracey remained confident that we would get him. Do to both of our work schedules my fiancé and I could not come home for about a month. So my family continued to work with Tracey. Slick would come for a few days then disappear, which became troublesome on us. We kept hearing of sightings but none of them panned out. We just continued to feed.

Nevaeh– Owner Jennifer Andrews – Testimonial

January 16, 2017 By tracey

Tracey and Jeff of the Luzerne County Pet Recovery Services helped me get my baby, Nevaeh home after I lost her while coming to visit a friend (in Luzerne county). An area which myself, nor my dog knew at all! Both Tracey and Jeff did not give up on my girl!! Tracey messaged me on Facebook every day in regards to Nevaeh. Tracey consoled me many times of Facebook messenger and through phone calls when I was upset and losing hope. Tracey made posters for me, she came and met me SEVERAL times and searched around the area with me. There is nothing she didn’t do to help myself and Nevaeh!! Both Tracey and Jeff went above and beyond to help me! There is so much they did to help that I won’t ever be able to fully express the gratitude I have. I just know without them I wouldn’t have my baby home today. Thank you so much Tracey and Jeff, you are both a god send. You will forever be apart of myself and Nevaeh’s life. Thank you so much for all you’ve done!

Boomer – Owner Jill Kisel – Lost Dog Recovery Testimonial

Boomer - Lost Dog Recovery

Tracey was an absolute Angel to us when we recently lost our 9-month-old rescue dog/fur child, Boomer. He slipped out of my grip while on a walk and ran away, crossing a busy highway and running deep into the woods. We were devastated and didn’t know where to start in our quest to find our pup. I called local shelters and the rescue from which we adopted Boomer, and they all gave the same recommendation… “Call Tracey from Luzerne County Pet Recovery… she will get your dog back!”. I messaged her on Facebook and promptly got a reply directing us on where to go next. Throughout the entire process, she was supportive, kind, and patient. She answered all of my questions and comforted me the best she could. She came to our home, helped us make flyers, showed us where to concentrate our efforts, and helped us hand them out. Then she took us into the woods for a “controlled search” to find Boomer. Within 35 minutes of looking, she had called my cell phone to tell me that she had found my dog… her instincts brought her straight to him (deep in the woods from which she had never stepped foot in before)!!!! Her expertise and knowledge about missing and lost animals are unparalleled. My advice to anyone out there in search of a missing fur baby is to call Tracey, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, TRUST HER ADVICE!!!! She knows what she is doing. Thank you Tracey and Jeff for bringing Boomer home. You will forever have a very special place in my family’s hearts.

Your services were vital in getting our pup home to us after 4 yrs. We did all of the wrong things when our dog first went missing and when we had a sighting four yrs later you told us the right way to get our dog back so we didn’t make the same mistake. Our family can’t thank you enough for all you have done and for your time and energy put into getting these animals back to their owners. I know without you he’d still be out there today.
