Early this morning we trapped newly adopted June Bug that escaped on 07/31/21 in Dunmore!!
We were called to help Sunday evening and I went up early yesterday morning and stayed all day. I did spot June Bug yesterday frantically running through Marywood University.
She was also traveling through the Dunmore Cemetery and Forest Hills Cemetery. She was covering a lot of ground in a short amount of time because of her fear level and all the activity on campus and in the cemeteries.
I set both a food station and a trap in different locations to lead her back to the trap. Hoping she would find the food station, get a little food in her belly, start to think more clearly, and head back to where we had the trap.
June Bug did exactly what I needed her to do. She found the food station a little after 6 am and then headed to the trap around 7:30. Good girl June Bug.
We have been working on a lot of dogs and cats and still have a few to go. If you are able, please consider making a donation to help cover our out-of-pocket expenses as they add up quickly. Thank you in advance for your support. ?
